Transitional postholder support
Finding suitably qualified local postholders can take time, particularly during an airline’s certification or launch phase. To maintain momentum, GH Aviation Consulting can provide experienced professionals to temporarily assume selected nominated positions, including safety and compliance monitoring roles.
Our support is provided for a clearly defined transition period, giving the airline additional time to recruit and prepare a permanent local candidate while benefiting from continuity, regulatory expertise and a structured handover. Appointments are subject to applicable regulatory requirements and acceptance by the relevant aviation authority.
Airline setup
After the business plan is done and some funding is secured, getting the Air Operator Certificate is a very challenging activity that takes 9 to 18 months to be completed. GH Aviation Consulting has experience in leading and supporting several AOC projects up to their first commercial flight. We can help you steer the AOC project and the Operating License and facilitate key decision-making in an informed and timely manner.
Interim management
GH Aviation Consulting staff can step in as interim managers (CEO, CCO, CFO) and lend our expertise in several key areas. This includes building a financial model, choosing sales channels and software, negotiating for airport slots, planning your first flight schedules, and setting up your ticket pricing and products. Our team knows what it takes to start an airline, and we’re ready to guide you through each step.
