GH Aviation Consulting’s first mission for a helicopter operator has developed into an ongoing partnership.
Initially called upon to help strengthen regulatory compliance and safety management for its specialised operations (SPO), we now provide ongoing support, covering the Safety Management and Compliance Monitoring postholder functions. We work closely with the operator’s team and the aviation authority in a demanding operating environment.
This mission has also taken us into a new field. While our background is in airline operations, we saw an opportunity to bring that experience to a small helicopter operator—combining structured approaches to safety and compliance with the team’s operational expertise.
Working with a small team offers a different perspective: a few people cover a wide range of responsibilities, requiring close coordination and practical solutions suited to their resources. Discovering helicopter operations has been a rewarding learning experience for us, and a reminder of how much different parts of aviation can learn from each other.
Through this partnership, GH Aviation Consulting extends its support to helicopter operators, helping aviation businesses strengthen their organisations and prepare for their next stage of development.
